Which came first, the chicken or the egg?
While people may ponder this question for years to come (even though it was recently “proven” that the chicken came first), there is ONE thing we can all agree on: the chicken’s egg is one of the most useful items on the face of this planet.
Think not, my friend? Think about just HOW many uses the egg has. Almost every food you can think of has some form of egg ingredient in it(breads, cookies, etc.). Furthermore, it can not only be eaten as a food itself in different forms (friend, scrambled, boiled, etc.), but it is the embryo for ANOTHER food we eat – CHICKEN!
Then there are those “other” uses for chicken eggs:
For tie-dye Easter egg projects
As a “protein shake” a la Rocky Balboa
Egging someone’s house (note: not recommended or condoned by me or this site. Unless the other person just REALLY deserves it)
That cool trick where you can suck a boiled egg into a glass jar with a small opening by striking a match, throwing it in the jar then putting the egg at the opening (thanks, “Full House!”)
Ah, chicken eggs… now THAT’S something to be thankful for! (Shout outs to Scott for the suggestion!)
